Terms of Use
Last updated: September 21, 2026
These terms are the rules for using RodeoReel (“RodeoReel,” “we,” “us”), the rodeo app for competitors, fans, and associations. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use RodeoReel.
Who can use RodeoReel
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should be comfortable with you using the app. Adults and people under 18 cannot message each other directly.
Your account
Give accurate information, keep your password private, and don’t let anyone else use your account. You are responsible for what happens under it. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings.
What you can post — and what you can’t
You keep ownership of the videos, photos, and text you post. You give RodeoReel a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, show, and share that content as part of the app (including share links) for as long as it is on RodeoReel. You promise that you have the right to post it — for example, that you filmed it or have permission from the people in it.
You may not post or send anything that:
- contains hate speech or slurs, or attacks people because of their race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or similar traits;
- harasses, bullies, threatens, or impersonates anyone;
- is sexually explicit, or shows or promotes violence or the abuse of animals or people;
- is illegal, fraudulent, or infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, or privacy;
- contains spam, malware, or attempts to get around the app’s safety features.
RodeoReel automatically checks some text for hate speech and blocks it. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.
Reporting and blocking
You can report a video or a rider from inside the app, and you can block any rider so they can’t message you and you won’t see their videos. We review reports and act on them, usually within 24 hours. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or delete accounts that break these rules, without notice.
Verified badges
A Competitor or Pro Competitor badge means an admin reviewed the photos you sent and approved your request. Photos you send for verification are permanently deleted as soon as a decision is made. We may remove a badge if it was obtained with false information.
Subscriptions and payments
RodeoReel Pro is a paid subscription that renews monthly until cancelled. Association accounts are currently free; if that changes we will tell association representatives in advance. Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account. You can cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, at least 24 hours before the renewal date; you keep access until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Prices may change with notice.
Information in the app
Rodeo dates, results, draws, and updates come from associations, other users, and public sources, and can change or be wrong. Check with the association or event before you travel or enter. RodeoReel is not affiliated with or endorsed by the rodeo associations listed unless it says so.
Our rights
The RodeoReel name, logo, and app are ours. Don’t copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the app, and don’t collect other users’ information with scripts or bots.
Disclaimers and limits
RodeoReel is provided “as is,” without promises that it will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content posted by users, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can’t be waived.
Ending your use
You can stop using RodeoReel and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or to protect other people.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; if the changes are important we will tell you in the app, and continuing to use RodeoReel means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes will be handled in the courts of Alberta. If you are a consumer, this does not take away any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the place where you live.
